This website has an interesting story behind it. In mid-2007 I was awarded with a scholarship to study “Website Development Technologies” in Japan. I spent 4 months there and instead of studying, as I already knew about those technologies, I worked developing some websites for them. On that period of time I created 3 web sites. One of them (below) refers to a website where students could download the software created by the institution. Because of this trip I had the opportunity to participate in the Adobe Max Japan 2007. This scholarship was amazing for both my personal and professional improvement.

Collaboration: Rafael Soares | Rodrigo Alves
This was another application that we created for Terra for the Beijing’s Olympic Games, but unfortunately (we don’t know why), it hasn’t been published. = ( People accessing the website were invited to upload their photo and could “become” a chinese. The application allows you to stretch your eyes, resize and rotate the photo, besides placing accessories like Chinese’s hats and teeth. After that, you could send the picture to friends or send to the iPhone as wallpaper. It was a really cool and sophisticate application. It was a pity that people couldn’t have the opportunity to be “chinezated”!
