On the day one keynote at Adobe Max 2009, Adobe announced that Flash Professional CS5 (sign up to be notified when the public beta is available) will include support for creating stand-alone applications for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch. You heard it right, Adobe Team have brought the Flash Platform to the iPhone OS for applications. In fact some of the applications are already on the Apple AppStore for you to download:

5. Red Hood
6. That Roach Game
7. Trading Stuff

Adobe provides developer community with a compiler to help package SWF content into a native iPhone application aligned with Apple’s legal terms.

I’m really excited with this ability to target the iPhone with Flash projects. I hope I can start developing iPhone Apps as soon as possible!

“At a blacksmith’s house, wooden skewer.” That’s a brazilian sentence that illustrates my situation. After many sites made for my clients, friends and partners, many people couldn’t believe that I still haven’t a website. Everybody keep saying to me “I can’t believe you don’t have one!” Well, I’m here again to apologize, I still don’t have a website! xD

But I’m here launching this blog! =)

It doesn’t means that I will not make my website, but I found in the blog a better way to show my works, give some tips and help people as much as I can.

Ok, let’s talk a little bit about myself. First of all, I’m from Brazil, so sorry if I make any mistake with English. Well, I can say that I’m very good using Adobe Flash, the tool I’m using for almost 9 years. During this time I worked with Java and learned ColdFusion and PHP, but Flash is my passion. Working with Rich Internet Applications (RIA), that’s what I like and what I’m focus in. So I became an expert in Flash Communication Server (now Flash Media Server), Apollo (now Adobe AIR) and Flash Lite. I’m working on learning Flex now, although I don’t have much time to study it. In my opinion Flex and AIR is the future of RIA.

I am currently CIO of Ad Infinitum Solutions a brazilian company that develops an huge web Communication and Education Platform called Adsum. I’ll write future posts talking about this amazing application.

I believe a few people know me, I stayed “hided” from the world. Now, with this blog I hope I can help many people and collaborate with the growing of Brazil on RIA development. There are many experts here, but they are all hide from the rest of the world as I was. I hope this can change soon.
